Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has showcased its latest products at the Saudi International Marine Exhibition and Conference (SIMEC); the largest seafood exhibition in Saudi Arabia.
MIFCO’s Managing Director Samah Rasheed as well as several other officials attended SIMEC, which ran from Sunday to Tuesday.
MIFCO briefed participants on the variety of Maldivian fish products distributed by the company — products tastings were part of the company’s presentations.
Attended by 35 countries, more than 120 companies, and around 3,000 industry executives across the host nation and overseas, 2024’s third annual iteration of SIMEC was a three-day event, held from 4 to 6 February at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, organised by Saudi Arabia’s National Livestock and Fisheries Development Program under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
