Pulse Hotels and Resorts has launched ‘The Coral Residence,’ a residential project being developed on Kandima Island in Dhaalu Atoll.

Kandima, which is the largest island in Dhaalu Atoll and already home to the five-star Kandima Maldives Resort, will develop the residential project at the northernmost, undeveloped, section of the island.

Pulse Hotels said in a press release that this is the first such project in the Maldives and that Coral Residences will be a unique, five-star, beachfront property.

The Coral Residences will feature a total of 40 two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, all equipped with the most modern interiors and appliances. All apartments will have sea views, and the development will feature premium facilities, including a private beachfront pool, gourmet restaurant and bar, fitness and recreation facilities, and 24-hour concierge service. Additionally, residents will have access to the restaurants, bars, spa, recreation, and other amenities at Kandima Maldives Resort.

Coral Residence apartments will be owned under the Strata Title Ownership Programme. The apartments will be part of a rental programme managed by Pulse Hotels and Resorts.

Pulse Hotels and Resorts Managing Director Sanjay Manik said the Coral Residences apartments will be available to both locals and foreigners.

“We believe this is a project that will set new standards for luxury living in the Maldives. It is a new way for families to spend their holidays in the Maldives,” he said.

Pulse Hotels and Resorts, in addition to Kandima Maldives, also operates the Nautilus Maldives and Nova Maldives.

The project has already begun construction and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
