The Visit Dharavandhoo 2025 Technical Committee, during an event at Dharavandhoo Island in Baa (B.) Atoll on Thursday night, unveiled ‘Visit Dharavandhoo Year 2025’. The event marked the launch of activities for Dharavandhoo’s Strategic Plan for the year.
While the logo and theme song were introduced, and ambassadors for Visit Dharavandhoo Year 2025 announced, the event also included testimonials from people from all walks of life sharing their perspectives on the island and notable celebrations planned throughout the year.
During a special video presentation, two eight-time visitors to the island—one from Australia and the other from the United States of America—described their unforgettable experiences and the joy of visiting Dharavandhoo.
Residents, tourists, and special guests attended the ceremony, which was emceed by the noted motivational speaker and tourism sector human resources specialist Hussain Afeef.
The conclusion of the event, serving as an invitation to Maldivians and travellers from all around the world to visit the island, gave way to a celebratory boduberu performance.
The ‘Visit Dharavandhoo Year 2025’ campaign is spearheaded by the Dharandhoo Council.
