State Trading Organization (STO) has introduced the Trister brand of medical devices and products to the Maldives. STO’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) Shimad Ibrahim and Medical Services General Manager Ahmed Niushad launched the brand during an event at STO People’s Choice.
Trister, an American brand, includes health monitoring devices that can be used in hospitals, clinics, and at home.
The introduced devices include those used for monitoring blood pressure, oxygen levels, blood glucose. Various home care and personal care products were also introduced.
Trister products are currently available at STO People’s Choice and STO pharmacies in the Malé area, and they will soon be made available at STO pharmacies across the atolls.
