Dr Mohamed Muizzu, the presidential candidate of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM)/People’s National Congress (PNC) coalition, has reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining close collaboration with the people even after winning the election.
Muizzu emphasised that he wouldn’t be a president who vanishes after the campaign period, citing his current role as the Mayor of Male’ City as evidence of his strong connection with his constituents.
He assured his supporters that a PPM/PNC government would be built upon sincerity and would prioritise addressing the concerns of the people.
Speaking to his supporters in Foakaidhoo of Shaviyani Atoll, Muizzu highlighted that efforts related to housing, youth empowerment, and similar areas would involve the active participation of people from all islands.
Muizzu guaranteed that his presidency would promote the development and engagement of all the islands without any form of discrimination.
