The Business Center Corporation (BCC) has held its first Creators Confluence, with meetings led by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Trade and the BCC to drive the Mohamed Muizzu administration’s initiatives to build a creative economy in the Maldives.
The full-day consultations were held at the National Art Gallery (NAG) in Malé on Saturday and featured youth and experts from various fields.
The BCC said it aims to hold more gahterings in the future to seek advice and consultation from those involved in the development of various sectors.
“Creator Hub” is part of President Muizzu’s plans to build a creative economy in Maldives and as such a proposed eleven-storey Creator Hub facility is set to provide convenient working spaces and facilities for the creative industry.
The Creator Hub will be developed on a 1,500-square-foot plot at Malé on Chaandhanee Magu with the facility scheduled to open in mid-2025.
