Israeli strikes on Monday destroyed a warehouse in Gaza belonging to the Maldives-based International Aid Campaign (IAC) containing humanitarian aid supplies, the organisation has said. Around 2,000 blankets, 1,000 food packs, and 3,000 clothing packs kept in the warehouse were damaged beyond use in the attack, according to IAC.
The Israelis also targeted a car carrying IAC staff, but no one was injured in the attack, the aid organisation said.
The IAC has so far raised more than MVR 9 million, approximately US$580,000, in aid for Palestinians.
Israel, continuing to blockade food, water, and electricity for four days now, has been unrelentingly targeting Gaza with heavy attacks over the past 10 days with more than 2,800 Palestinian children, women and civilians murdered thus far, with the death toll increasing daily.
