Four fire personnel were injured when a pressure fed system exploded at Kulhudhuffushi Airport in Haa Dhaalu Atoll on Thursday.
Those injured included one woman and three men.
One remains in critical condition after receiving serious injuries to his arm, police said, based on information from the Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital. The person has now been brought to Male’ for further treatment.
Police said the injured were airport employees and the incident was reported at 11:45 a.m.
