State Trading Organization (STO) has invited its shareholders for an informal meeting on Saturday, 8 May, at 11 a.m. The state-owned company said that the shareholder engagement event will be held at the STO Training Institute, located on the 4th floor of the STO Trade Center building.
In an announcement on Monday, STO advised shareholders who wish to attend the event to register by 11 a.m. on Friday, 7 June. Registration can be completed through the company’s online portal at portal.sto.mv.
As this is an informal meeting with shareholders, no proxies will be appointed, according to the announcement. Shareholders of the company who are 16 years old or older by the registration deadline are eligible to attend this meeting, it added.
During the meeting, STO plans to share information about the ongoing preparations for the publication of its annual report and its upcoming Annual General Meeting, and discuss the company’s strategic plans. However, no proposals will be presented for approval at this meeting, the company added.
