Police have arrested eight individuals, including seven males and one female, suspected of drug-related offences in a raid in Hulhumalé on Thursday. A police spokesperson confirmed that all the suspects are locals.

The raid was conducted by the specialised drug enforcement department of the Maldives Police Service (MPS) as part of its ongoing anti-narcotics operation. The police also seized drugs in the raid; however, the exact quantity and types of substances remains undisclosed.
