Foreign Minister Abdulla Khaleel wrapped up his official visit to India on Wednesday after attending the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The dialogue, inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and featured New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon as the chief guest, saw Khaleel participate as a panellist in the session titled “Climate Cataclysm: The Adaptation Agenda is Gasping”. He contributed to discussions on urgent climate adaptation challenges and global responses.

During the visit, Khaleel also held talks with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, on Tuesday. The two ministers reviewed the current development partnership and explored potential avenues for future collaboration. Khaleel also met with other senior dignitaries on the sidelines of the dialogue, the ministry said.

Khaleel’s visit follows his earlier trip to India in January, which came at an important time as both countries sought to revive relations after a period of tensions. During that visit, Khaleel and Jaishankar discussed regional security, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
