The discussions focused on “enhancing bilateral relations between the Maldives and the United Kingdom,” with particular emphasis on “cooperation in fisheries, climate change adaptation, the expansion of renewable energy, and the advancement of education and scholarship opportunities,” the statement said.
Both sides “also explored new avenues for collaboration across key sectors,” it added.
The meeting concluded with “both countries reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the enduring partnership between the two nations,” according to the statement.
