The Lanzador is an all-wheel-drive concept car that includes an electric motor on each axle ensuring permanent all-electric drive in every condition, surface and driving style, with peak power of more than one megawatt. Power is provided by a new generation high-performance battery, which also ensures a long range, the company said. The design of the car is said to reflect a philosophy on sustainable materials to the interior with no compromise to the luxury look and feel or quality and durability. The all-electric Lanzador makes no compromises in terms of power, driving pleasure and performance, Lamborghini said.

“The Lanzador concept delivers on each of the elements that should define the first full-electric Lamborghini,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.

As Lamborghini marks their 60th anniversary, the luxury carmaker is the latest to make its foray into the ever-popular electric car segment with a concept model – the likes of Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Jaguar and even Rolls-Royce already boast electric models within their line-up.
