The British Royal Navy’s RFA Lyme Bay arrived in Malé on Monday for a port call, the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) confirmed.

An MNDF official stated that the vessel docked after obtaining the necessary clearances and will remain near Malé until Thursday. The port call is part of routine naval operations, and the ship is expected to conduct logistical activities during its stay.

RFA Lyme Bay, one of the largest vessels in the British military, is currently positioned off the northwest coast of the capital. At 176 metres long, it can carry over 16,000 tonnes of cargo, supporting a wide range of military and humanitarian missions.
