Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa, the flagship resort of Hilton in the Maldives, is set to celebrate its first year of operation with a special event called The Amingiri Birthday Party on Saturday, 1 July 2023. The luxury retreat will host a variety of activities, starting with a tropical-themed pool party at the Aura Pool Bar, where guests can enjoy tropical-flavoured popsicles, fun games, and giant inflatables.
According to Hilton, the resort’s beachfront pool and ocean view provide a beautiful setting for the party, with music from resident DJ Maryna. The resort highlights that young guests will have their own kids’ corner in the pool, followed by an evening party at Krakengiri Kids’ Club with crafts, games, a mini magic show, popcorn, and birthday cake. As for the adventurous guests, a treasure hunt around the island with buried prizes will take place. The afternoon will conclude with a special event hosted by the general manager.
The after-party, starting at 9 p.m., will feature guest DJs and a fire show for entertainment. During the evening turndown service, guests will receive a collection of birthday pralines inspired by signature desserts from each of the resort’s restaurants.
Hilton says the celebration will continue until 15 July, with special savings on selected salon treatments, water-sports, and food and beverage for all guests. Additionally, guests can enjoy complimentary photography during popular Try Mermaid and Try Scuba sessions. Well-known Maldivian artist Rappe will showcase his artwork on the island, including a paper art gate and a curated exhibit called “Ehtherevari,” highlighting the delicate marine ecosystem.
Located on Amigiri Island in North Male’ Atoll, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport, the resort opened its doors on 1 July 2022. It offers 109 spacious beach and overwater villas, each with a private pool and breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoons. The villas blend Maldivian elements with contemporary design, creating a calm and tropical atmosphere with ample natural light.
Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa is the fourth addition to Hilton’s portfolio in the Maldives, joining Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton.
