The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and the Ministry of Tourism launched the 2024 Tourism Symposium at Crossroads Maldives on Tuesday.
The Symposium is hosting more than 150 attendees from various sectors of the tourism industry, including resorts, guesthouses, liveaboards, local tourism operators, travel agents, tourism associations, and travel media.
According to MMPRC, the Symposium aims to facilitate dialogue between sector stakeholders on how to further promote tourism in the Maldives and identify new ideas and insights.
The Symposium also features panel discussions, and group discussions, while looking to the introduction of new tourism segments to the Maldives.
