Qatar’s Prime Minister has expressed continued support for the main UN relief agency for Palestine, UNRWA, warning of repercussions if funding is halted. Spain has also pledged an additional €3.5 million in aid to UNRWA to address a funding shortfall resulting from the suspension by major donors following accusations against UNRWA employees.

Meanwhile, rescue efforts are underway in central Gaza as Israeli air attacks on safe homes and a mosque killed 30 Palestinians, with search teams scrambling to find survivors. Israeli snipers have also killed seven Palestinians near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

At least 27,478 Palestinians have been killed and 66,835 others injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip since 7 October, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Monday.

At least 113 people have been killed and 205 others injured in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours alone.

The UN says 85% of Gaza’s population has been displaced internally and is facing severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine due to the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza, with 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been destroyed or damaged.

Reports say Israeli forces have detained several officials of Al-Amal hospital in Khan Younis, in addition to the detention of 22 Palestinians in the West Bank as part of a large-scale military incursion, bringing the total number of Palestinians detained by Israel to nearly 6,540. The Israeli military is also intensifying its attacks in Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah.
