A 20-year-old man is fighting for his life after a pickup-motorcycle collision in Hulhumale Phase 2 yesterday. He is being treated in the ICU at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Accidents have been on the rise in Hulhumale Phase 2 recently. Last month, a man lost his life in a similar accident in the same area, while several people were seriously injured in another incident.
The injured youth was initially treated at Hulhumale Hospital and was shifted to IGMH for further medical attention. His identity has not yet been released to the public.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, and the authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution while on the road to prevent similar incidents.
